Project Two - Renovation

In the heart of Sandymount this small boutique shop was attached to a family home. Our client had a vision and together with a transforming and unique design by GKMP architects and our craftmanship and a beautiful new family home was born. Its detail and in particular concrete elements are magnificent and the dome concrete ceilings to kitchen/living room are stand out features that make this renovation truly unique and special.

Inside the three curved ceilings was intricate for us and took ten weeks of labour, thirty -six cubic meters of concrete and eight tonnes of steel. These along with some other beautiful features are a real joy to the client, and to our team at Darcy Bros. This project won “Overall Award“ from the Irish Concrete Society in 2017.
